Leading Communications Service Providers Show Clear Preference for Razorsight's Next Generation Software to Attain Margin Improvements

FAIRFAX, VA – Februrary 7, 2008 – Razorsight Corporation, a market leading provider of on-demand financial audit and analytics solutions for communications, media and entertainment companies, today announced record revenues and growth for its fiscal year ending on December 31, 2007. The company's revenues have grown by 605 percent over the last 5 years, and Razorsight maintained a 100 percent win record over competition in 2007 as the company won a record number of multi-million dollar deals with marquee communications service providers. Driven by innovation, Razorsight significantly increased its market share during the year, reinforcing its reputation as the preferred solutions provider in the industry.

Strong growth across market segments
Razorsight entered into multi-million dollar agreements with a large number of service providers, including two Top 5 carriers. The company won significant new contracts with leading companies in all aspects of the communications industry including LECs, RLECs, CLECs, CATV, VoIP, Data Service Providers and International Carriers. Every new customer entered into a multi-year commitment to Razorsight, reflecting the exceptional value clients perceive in its innovative SaaS offerings. Razorsight also saw strong demand in the mid-market segment, with an increasing number of smaller carriers signing up for Razorsight Intelliview, the industry’s first on-demand network cost management solution customized for small and medium sized service providers. 

Strategic partnerships with IBM Corporation and a Top two systems integrator
Razorsight entered into an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) teaming agreement with IBM Corporation for its PartnerWorld Telecommunications Industry Network program. Under the terms of the agreement, which builds on the existing PartnerWorld relationship, Razorsight and IBM telco-focused solutions will be made available to mutual customers on IBM platforms through joint sales efforts. By combining their solutions’ strengths and domain expertise, Razorsight and IBM will be able to provide unprecedented margin improvement opportunities for communications, media and entertainment companies. Razorsight also became the preferred Communications Network Cost Management partner of a Top two systems integrator and entered into an agreement where the two will offer an integrated solution and carry out joint marketing efforts.
 
Industry Recognition through a number of awards

Increased investments in Next Generation products

  • Launched AIM Intelliview – the first and only solution in the communications industry that caters to the network cost management needs of small and mid-sized carriers.
  • Based on the needs of the market and Razorsight’s large customer base, Razorsight introduced Revenue Assurance and Usage Analytics for NGN Services.
  • Razorsight also continued to enhance its market leading AIM Capture and AIM Analytics products by introducing several new releases.
  • Further strengthened Product Management team such that 44 percent of employees are in R&D, while adding industry veteran Ramesh Ganesan to lead our India Operations.
